All of which is important to note because I credit the rebuild to eliminating most of the freeplay. No one with 100K miles on the clock should think that tightening up two cables is a cure-all for a loose driveline. However, after spending all that time and money to rebuild; there was still residual jerkiness. This confounded me greatly until I happened to adjust these cables.
